Overview

 

  • A children-only duathlon (run-bike-run format) for experienced racers and novices alike.

 

  • Format based on the very successful 2016 event - see HERE for results, photos and report.

 

  • Held at Minet Park, Hayes, see below for further details

 

  • The traffic free cycle circuit and off road running trails make for excellent spectator viewing.

 

  • Medal and Race Momento to all finishers.

 

  • Trophies awarded to the leading 3 boys & girls in Tristart/Tristar1,2,3/Youth category and winners of Junior.

 

  • Generous prizes for podium finishers and spot-prizes donated by Zone3

 

  • Results will be published shortly after the race.

 

  • Triumph welcome participation by para-triathletes. If any provision of assistance is required then please let us know via our Contact page and we'll help as needed.

Triumph are proud to have this event included in the 2017 London Region Junior Series.

How to Enter

 

See table below for race distances and fees -

the races will be run in this order on the day.

 

Entry Closing Date: Tuesday 4th July - or when category full.

 

It is necessary to limit number of participants to ensure that racing is safe. We anticipate reaching this limit quickly, and so early entry is advised to secure a place.

Extras!

 

Triumph are committed to delivering the best experience possible for all participants, and the event will incorporate:

- run course utilising the new sections of track and the inner-paths that proved so popular in the 2016 event - this keeps the action close to the spectactors ensuring safe racing and excitement for all.

 

- racking for fair and hassle-free transition experience

 

 

The race will be run under British Triathlon Federation rules and officiated by a qualified race referee.

This is a 1.5km purpose-built cycle track that is perfect for safe and exciting junior racing.

It is easy to get to, and there is free-parking.

Entry Details

 

  • The table above shows the categories in the order that they will be run.

There will be gender-specific races if number of entries necessitates this.

 

  • A £1 additional fee is charged for a BTF day licence to entrants who are not BTF members.

 

  • Withdrawal Policy. If after entry you are unable to compete then you may transfer your number to someone else (if there is space in their category to accomodate another participant). In order to make the transfer you must contact us by 1st July (it will not be possible to transfer after this date). There is no charge to make the transfer.

 

 

Photograph Policy

Triumph Sports Events has the right to use images, photographs and video taken by their contracted photographers and employees at the Event without informing the Participant. These images will only be used for the purposes of promoting, reporting and broadcasting the event, and any other promotion related to our business activities.

 

Any individual who does not wish to have their image used by the organiser for these purposes must inform the organiser via email.
